Image Capture Bug in Sequoia 15.7.2 On Mac mini M4 and 2020 Intel MacBook Air

I haven't used Image Capture for a while, but today I needed to scan 5 pages using a Canon MF8280Cw, an MFC I have had and used for many years over numerous macOS versions. I have had the following problem on both a 2020 Intel MacBook Air and on a Mac mini M4 both running 15.7.2, even after downloading the latest drivers from the Canon web site.

If the Scan Mode is set to "Flatbed" and Image Correction is set to "Manual", all of the settings controls disappear as shown here:

If the Scan Mode is set to "Document Feeder" and Image Correction is set to "Manual", settings controls remain as normal. But switching back to "Flatbed" with Image Correction is set to "Manual", once again, all of the settings controls disappear.

This is obviously a bug that I'm hoping will be fixed in the next point release of 15.7, because I don't want to move to macOS 26 yet. Anyone else seen this problem?

Appreciate your suggestions and reset the printer system, but the problem remains. The article on solving scanning problems only suggested deleting the scanner or MFC and adding it back, which I did when I reset the printing system.

I think this is indeed a bug that you have discovered. I have two scanners and with 15.7.2 both show the same problem that you reported. Another computer running Monterey does not exhibit the problem, however, on those same scanners.
