No XProtect updates since Nov 11 when version 2023 downloaded via iCloud. Does anyone know why?

There is no weekly schedule of updates you should expect, so there is nothing for you to worry about.

There is just no rhyme or reason on any sense of a schedule on when they will be released and as the support document says they are issued based on the latest threat intelligence available. Unless you actively keep track of the latest version, you would never even know when they are updated. Apple does not provide us or anyone else with the details on when you can expect the next update, so I would not expect you would get an answer to a "why" question in the terms of length of time between updates.

There have been no updates?
Don't believe what you're told on the internet. You don't need to monitor the operating system to make sure it updates.
Sorry - I made a mistake on the date in my original post. I also have update 5323 which was made on Nov 12th, as noted above. But there have been no updates since the 12th. They had been almost weekly prior to the 12th. Does anyone have an explanation for the lack of updates since Nov 12th?
I am not worried about the lack of xprotect releases since 11/10/25. However since Apple had been releasing Xprotect updates almost weekly for most of this year, I merely asked if anyone knew why there has not been an update in the past 28 days.
Using macOS 26.1 Tahoe, which, as of this writing , is the latest version of Tahoe
As has been mentioned by previous contributor
micro management will not make Apple release additional updates until Apple decide to release updated
Perhaps there have been no emergent threats for a few weeks, and the bad guys moved on to other exploits such as selling VPNs, or peddling other solutions for problems that don't exist.

On my MacBook Pro with Sequoia 15.7.2 Nov 12 version 5323 was the last XProtect update.
Why would you worry about this when in fact you do have the latest XProtect update? The same update as was applied on Owl-53's Tahoe Mac and on my Sequoia Mac. I think this is a non-issue.
