iPhone 14 &15pro stopped casting at the same time.

iPhone 14 and 15pro stopped casting to my tv's. Nothing shows up when I try to cast, just says No Devices Available. Both have the latest iOS installed (26.1) and all of my tv's have been updated. I've checked all my settings as per the recommendations and still nothing. Even my iPad stopped working. However, my wife's new iPhone 17 can cast to all of the tv's. I'm a bit boggled as to why both of mine just stopped working one day. Everything has been rebooted as well with no results. Thanks for any advice.

iPhone's don't support casting. That is a Google proprietary protocol.

You can Airplay from an iPhone to supported devices, using the "Mirroring" option in control center. Or the Airplay option in many apps.

Some apps like YouTube may support Google Cast to chrome cast compatible devices like some TVs and receivers though.

You can't Airplay from one iPhone to another though.

Assuming all your tVs and phones are on the same wifi network, we need to work out the differences.

One that could affect wifi connectivity is VPN. If you have one installed, uninstall it completely and try again.

Likewise any differences in software portfolio between your wife's phone and yours.

What I don't get is that I've been running that same VPN for years now and all of the sudden it just stopped working. Also, I don't have the vpn on my work phone (15) only on my personal phone (14). I'll try to uninstall on the one and see if that fixes it and let you know. Thank you.

Airplay/mirroring is what I meant. The little icon on the top left of many of the screens.

I deleted/uninstalled the vpn, rebooted phone and still not working. Tried reinstalling vpn and the same thing. And your assumptions about the same network were correct, I checked that first.
