How to troubleshoot iPhone 17 mobile data not working when eSIM is turned off?

Hi. My mobile data won’t work on my iPhone 17. I have checked the Mobile Service in settings and it shows it is looking at this sim. I did have an eSIM when abroad but this is turned off. Are there other settings I should check as I’ve looked online but I can’t find anything. Thanks
