MacBook Pro speakers making popping

"These were YouTube videos, and the issue happened occasionally. After around 15 minutes of watching, the popping sound would stop would stop."

Troubleshooting Distorted Internal Mac Speakers:

Single-Out this Player:

Are these home videos? If so, and are of MP4 format, use QuickTime player. 10.5 is the version I have on Tahoe on my Mac, and it works just fine. Right-Click on the file > hover over Open With > select QuickTime Player
