Magic Keyboard (A2520) not pairing with Mac mini

A2520 magic keyboard stopped working on Monday (December 8, 2025). I purchased the keyboard from Best Buy 12/5/2024. I looked up my purchase on their website. I paid $169.99. I don't think an Apple product should die 1 year after I purchased it. I did not spill anything on it. I simply turned it off and put it away for a few hours. When I turned on my Mac mini (M2) a few hours later; the bluetooth on my computer could not pair with the keyboard. I have followed so many tips online. I have turned it off and on several times. I have charged it overnight. I have plugged it in to the Mac mini with the lightning to Usb-C cable.

I am currently using a Logitech K585 that pairs through bluetooth. This is my work from home keyboard for my work PC laptop. So I know the bluetooth on my Mac mini works.

I need HELP! I specifically purchased it because of the finger print reader and I bought it in black to match my Mac mini. I feel dumb now. Also, I love having the 10-key punch.
