Eye strain and nauseous after new upgrade. Please help to revert.

I have to work and cannot use my phone after last nights update! My eyes hurt and I feel nauseous! I cannot look at the liquid screen and the transparency/motion that has been added. Apple really got it wrong this time. HELP. I feel physically sick and I have so much to do. I will do as much as I can on my laptop but this is crazy! Please tell me how to revert this. I have done all the tweaks suggested and it still isn't enough. I see so many people having issues. What was Apple thinking?!

No, you cannot really "downgrade" your iOS version. If there are certain issues you are having with iOS 26 you can post them and we can help to resolve them, or if you have feedback about the version as a whole you can tell apple at Product Feedback - Apple.

As for the eye strain and similar issues, its worth tweaking accessibility and customization settings to see if that helps. Have a look at this for more info about what is commonly done: Liquid Glass - Love It Or Hate It - It's … - Apple Community

It's absolutely horrendous. I hate everything about the upgrade. And I've found changing the settings of the color, transparency etc does nothing to improve it. Plus, as always with an upgrade and release of a new phone, my not so old phone 15 pro has major lag and apps like mail don't open, nor do txt and the battery life is terrible now. This always seems to happen with a new phone release, they make the OS incompatible with older models. frustrating! change it back or give us the ability to change to the "classic" view.
