Cannot access serial port for device configuration.

Trying to configure Vesper Marine XB8000

vmAIS software

cannot open a serial port.

Previous Mac versions allowed FTDI drivers. These no longer work with 26.x

How do I access the serial port for configuration of 3rd party hardware?
