How to reduce passcode sign-in frequency on iPhone 16?

Is there any way to reduce the number of times I need to sign in with a passcode? This is getting tedious! Mine is an iPhone 16 with the most recent update I have to sign in each time I pick it up, which I do frequently throughout the day!
