Text tones barely audible even at top volume

the text tones are way too low in sound compared to ringtones. i cannot hear a text alert if im not in the same room and if there is no music playing (even if im in the same room, like with my phone in my pocket). there have been a number of similar posts in the recent past, and they have all been closed by the system or community team. Apple has not shown any empatjhy, let alone support, for this issue. on the contrary, they keep closing posts relating to this issue. Genius bar agents are also clueless beyond the simple steps mentioned in forums or online. as it is, with this issue, iphones are not fit for purpose. is there a solution at all?
