Walmart has not provided any document/invoice with serial number for my iphone. Now it's damaged.

A quick search here will give you a clear idea of the difficulties of getting iPhones sold in countries other than India serviced in India.

You should have purchased one in the country you live in. Any savings you may have realized by purchasing one in Canada or the US to avoid the taxes and import duties that make them more expensive in India are quickly erased when you realize that the only way you're going to get it repaired or replaced without major headaches and months without the use of your phone is to get on a plane and take the phone back to the country where it originated.

I am not sure how it would be possible to resolve that problem with Walmart providing you the receipt. You may have to escalate this further with Walmart and also check your Junk mail in case the email went there instead. As it stands now, you could simply have an iPhone found on the street and trying to get Apple to repair it for you. Not saying that is true, but certainly why the receipt is required.

Most countries don't require any kind of documentation. The warranty and AppleCare+ follow the device, not the person who purchased it.

If it was purchased in the US, you will have to physically bring it back to the US for service.

Contact Walmart.

There is nothing we or Apple can do for you.

Only Walmart would have the receipt or sales information.
