Apple - please fix this problem with junk calendar invites

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 26.2

Upon installing iOS 26.2, my Apple calendar filled with junk Calendar Invites.

Every day on into the future, six . . . eight . . . ten all-day events. Every day.

Following suggestions and instructions here would require a couple of hours just to clear a single week.

My calendar is now filled with so much junk, it’s useless to me.

I call upon Apple to fix this problem.

Just an FYI, this is a user forum. The people who respond here are not Apple employees. They offer their suggestions for fixes out of the kindness of their hearts.

I don't think Apple can do anything about the spam calendar events (they are not generated by Apple), but there might be a setting or two that can be tweaked to minimize them.

If you live near an Apple Store, I suggest a visit to the Genius Bar to see if there are settings you can adjust. You can also visit here: Official Apple Support to find authorized repair shops in your area. There are Apple Support videos on YouTube. If your device is still under AppleCare, you may find other resources available to you. And, there's always the browser search. Try "preventing spam calendar events" to see what comes up. It may save you some gas. ;)

I feel your frustration! I hope these suggestions help you!

Can you unlink your Outlook calendar from your Apple calendar?

Here's what I found from Microsoft.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/connect-outlook-and-apple-iphone-calendars-be7a12eb-fe76-4346-ae13-b54249db7f9c

And from Apple:

Delete calendars and events on iPhone - Apple Support

And/or, go into the Apple Calendar settings on your phone (settings>apps>calendar), tap on Accounts, and then the offending Outlook account, and next to Calendars, click on the slider to turn it off. Then the Outlook calendar won't show up on your Apple calendar, you will only see it when Outlook is launched.

If there are calendar events on your Outlook calendar that need to be on your Apple calendar, you can manually forward those events to your apple ID to have them show up on your Apple calendar.

That won't fix the junk invites issue, but it might save your sanity.

Nope.

Not subscribed to any junk Calendar. When deleted, they stay deleted. But there are now DOZENS each day.

This is an infiltration of my Outlook email to automatically post junk invites on my Apple Calendar.

This issue coincides with my upgrade to iOS 26.2 yesterday.

It has since appeared to my iPad, making every Apple Calendar completely useless.
