Apple TV won't stream after account update

I have recently changed my email address, and went through the Apple account information page to update and change my password. I am paying for Apple TV by direct debit. All changes weem to have been acepted. But when I try to stream a programme I first get the invitation to join for a free trial week. I can't get further than that, so i clicked 'yes'. Then I got the message 'you are already s subscriber'. But it still won't let me stram programmes. Can you help please?
