My iPad asking for a password on an unrelated account
Setting up new iPad and asking for password on account not mine to download some apps. I’m signed in on my account.

If you are trying to download an app that was originally downloaded with a different account you will need to delete the app entirely and redownload it with your current signed-in account. If you think this is not the case, first check that your have your account set in Settings > Media & Purchases.
