Contacts Tahoe: Address copy missing name, white font

When copying an address in the pre-Tahoe Contacts, I could simply click over the address and the name and address is copied and easily pasted. In Tahoe, that simple action is not possible, at least as I can tell. If I click over the address then the name is not included, and even worse is that it copies with a white font which does not work well when copying onto a white document. Any fix for this?

There are definitely issues with Contacts in Tahoe. To have Apple consider your feedback, submit it here:

The workaround for the white text is to copy it then in the destination app, use Paste and Match Format/Style (Command-Shift-Option-V).

On my Mac running Sequoia, copy on the address copies just the address, not the contact name as well. That is no different in Tahoe.

Nice, I never noticed that before. Seems like Apple 'helpfully' integrated a link to Maps instead. Again, the feedback link is how to make your opinion known to them.

There was a graphical glitch (flickering boxes) in Contacts when scrolling in 26 and 26.1, it's gone in 26.2 so they do address bugs. The maps link seems more of a feature than a bug, but I would prefer the limited menu that comes up in Sequoia and includes Open in Maps as an option.

In Tahoe, the contact's name can be copied by Command-C or Edit menu > Copy with nothing selected on the card. For example, I used Command-C on the card below, and here is the Command-V: Apple Inc.

Still means a two-step process to copy the name then copy the address, and an awkward keyboard shortcut to get them pasted in the destination app style.
