I have an amount of contacts which will not sync to icloud. How can I make this happen?
It is an iPhone 15 pro max, and I am about to transition to the 17 pro.
Settings are as they should.

Open Settings > Tap your name at the top > Tap iCloud - how much space do you have available in iCloud? You may need to upgrade your iCloud Storage plan.
OK. Do you have a VPN installed on your iPhone (used or not). VPN's are simply not needed on iPhone and cause connectivity issues. If you have one, get rid of it (and any app tied to it), restart your iPhone, then try to sync.
