17 Pro will no longer charge via port…. Port is undamaged & tried various cert apple chargers…..

Iphone 17 Pro went dead. It won’t recharge even after trying several apple chargers. It will only charge via plate. No damage to charging port. Practically new port. I read others are having similar issues, is this a thing now w/iphone 17 Pro?

EDIT: After charging for a few minutes on plate charger, I plugged the port charger in and now it is charging from the port. I guess the fix is not to let your phone go dead… Otherwise, you will need a plate charger. Lovely…having issues w/ unresponsive touch screen, randomly muting incoming calls from people both on and off my contact list, dropped calls, intermittent unresponsive network, weird placement for pop up boxes, random hops to other text messages when replying to someone, and now this…. Wish I kept my Iphone 13.

However, NEVER, NEVER let any device with a Lithium Ion battery get so low the device will shut off. This is an excellent way to kill the battery prematurely. Ideally, charge it below 20%, but absolutely below 10%.
