The best methods depend on whether you have access to a trusted device or if you have set up an Account Recovery Contact.
1. Reset on a Trusted Apple Device
If you are already signed in to your Apple ID on an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch that is secured with a passcode, you can reset your password directly on that device without a phone number verification code.
On an iPhone or iPad Go to Settings.
Tap your name at the top.
Tap Sign-In & Security.
Tap Change Password.
Enter your device passcode (or Mac's login password) when prompted.
Follow the on-screen steps to enter a new password.
