How long till Apple fixes the lag on the IOS 26 update? So many of the new features are annoying or dumb, but the lag is another level of issue. I have had the update for about a week and my phone keeps freezing, so much lag within apps, or when trying to lock my phone.
iOS 26.2 was released 3 days ago, is that what you are using? It is not clear since you said you had the update for about a week. Also make sure you are not using Low Power Mode.
For whatever reason my phone only updated to 26.1 last week, even with automatic updates on. I have today now gotten 26.2, so fingers crossed the bugs are fixed in that. I did not have on low power mode.
