26.2 upgrade disaster for me

I upgraded to 26.2 on my iPhone 12 and it’s a disaster!

I log on and it seems fine, but I can only be o phone for 2.2-2.5 minutes and the screen freezes, goes to black, white apple appears and I have to log in again with my 4 digit numbers.

This repeats over and over.

The 2.5 minute cut off to reboot happens no matter what I’m doing: phone call, text, YouTube, etc.

If a Forced Restart does not get things working after a few tries, then you will need to make an appointment at the Apple Store / Genius Bar or take the phone to an authorized Apple service shop.

For iPhone 8, iPhone SE (2nd generation and later), and all models without a Home button (iPhone X, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and newer):

This is a three-step sequence that must be done quickly:

Press and quickly release the Volume Up button.
Press and quickly release the Volume Down button.
Press and hold the Side/Power button (on the right side).

- Ignore the "slide to power off" slider.
- Continue holding the Side button until the screen turns black, and then the Apple logo appears.

Release the Side button once the Apple logo shows up.

It may also be your battery if the Battery Health is showing under 80%. I would suspect if you have never replaced the battery yet on an iPhone 12 by Apple or Authorized Apple Service Provider, then you are overdue.
