How to stop iris animation when launching apps on iPhone SE?
Is there any way to stop the iris animation every time I launch an app on my iPhone SE using iOS 26.2? I find it distracting and a bit annoying.

Unfortunately, no, that has mostly to do with the overall “look” and not app opening iris animations.
"Finally, Liquid Glass has animations, which for some people with visual issues, can be difficult for them. To turn off the animations, again go to Settings > Accessibility > Motion – Turn ON Reduce Motion and things won’t move about your screen."

I was afraid of that. I sure wish Apple would stop trying to fancy up things without a means to turn it off. Limiting Motion was a good start, but they need to make the choices more granular… including “No Opening Iris”

Press and hold the App icon to reveal a menu, then tap "Require Face ID" to toggle it off. ⇣
