Battery life after iOS / watchOS 26.2

Guys, about iOS 26.2 and watchOS 26.2, have you notice some battery drain after update. I'd say the mine iPhone 16 and Apple Watch Series 10 have dropped the duration by almost 50%. To be hones on 26.0 I noticed a slight improve from iOS 18, but after that iOS 26.1 was bad for battery life, iOS 26.2 have been worse.

Note: both my devices are on 100% battery life and have less than 1 year of usage. Anyone else with the same problem, there is any software configuration to improve battery life?

Honestly, I'm thinking on dropping Apple devices for good, they gave me nothing but angry after a new device lunched

I have an almost 2yo iPhone 15 Pro. I didn't notice significant battery issues after IOS 26, but IOS 26.2 is draining my iPhone horrifyingly fast, within a couple of hours. New York Times is my worst offender, using 7% of battery in 21min. 3% of battery were used by each of Photos (15 min screen time), Google Maps (3%), Gmail (12m), Mail (11m). Yesterday, Safari used 9% for 11min, Mail used 10% (28m), Google Maps 7% (10 min), Settings 5% (24 min). Before, I was recharging about once daily. Yesterday, I recharged THREE times & topped off a couple more.

I don't use Background App refresh, minimally use Live activities, and close inactive Apps promptly. My Apple 10 watch got slightly worse after IOS 26 & it's only been 8 hours since I updated it to 26.2.
