Since upgrading to iOS26 the mail app when searching emails, half the screen is hidden.
even in 26.1 and now 26.2 it still happens
anyone else seeing a huge box covering the search list?
type in a search string and click the search button
scroll and can see that the list is not full screen
if I touch the search box again and click search then I get a full screen list

OMG, a simpe question asking if anyone else is seeing what im seeing and I get this reply.
no, not jailbroken or anything like that. And I think I made it perfectly understandable regarding that it was something that was working perfectly fine prior to installing the iOS26, and rather the problem began after upgrading from old iOS to new iOS26 and been there since then through 26.1 and now 26.2
now I remember why I don't bother asking questions in the "community", because drivel like this gets posted back

Sometimes we post pre-prepared answers in order to cover everything and prevent coming back and forth with additional questions.
In this case it appears to be inexplainable and therefore probably a bug.
