Video Playing Randomly / Suspected Ghost Touch issues

Hey everyone, I’ve noticed a weird issue with my iPhone over the last couple of days. It’s an iPhone 13 running iOS 26.2.

The phone randomly starts playing a video or audio, and most of the time it’s not something from my gallery. This happens when I’m not using the phone. The first time it happened was while the phone was charging. I haven’t changed my charger recently, so I don’t think the charger is the issue.

The only change I’ve made in the last month is getting a new screen protector, and this issue only started about a week ago.

Whenever this media starts playing, I can’t use the phone at all and have to force restart it to make it stop. I’m wondering if this could be related to ghost touch, but I’m not sure.

So far, I’ve:

  • Wiped the phone screen
  • Checked Accessibility settings
  • Confirmed Assistive Touch is disabled

Has anyone experienced something similar? Could a screen protector cause this behavior, or are there other things I should check?

Thank you.
