Hello,
This is a user to user forum, you are not addressing Apple support here. We cannot re-sync anything here.
You might want to toggle Find My off and back on to reset it and see if it updates in the Device list.
When Find My looks enabled locally but shows as off in your Apple ID device list, that’s almost always an iCloud sync issue on the Mac, not something you can fix from the website.
On macOS, Find My Mac depends on three things syncing cleanly together, iCloud account state, Secure Enclave registration, and the background location daemon. Toggling Find My alone often doesn’t re-register Activation Lock. What actually works in real life is signing out of iCloud on the Mac completely, rebooting, then signing back in and re-enabling Find My. This forces the Mac to re-enroll with Apple’s servers and refresh the Activation Lock record.
If it still doesn’t update after a few hours, check System Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > System Services and make sure “Find My Mac” is explicitly enabled there too, not just Location Services globally. If all of that looks correct and the device still shows Find My off, it usually means Apple’s iCloud backend hasn’t accepted the registration yet, and only Apple Support can manually clear and reattach the device record on their side.
