How to enable automatic login on a MacBook with FileVault enabled?

For a more full disclosure on this matter

When Tahoe was first installed, unbeknownst to many, including myself

Apple decided to enable FileVault as the default setting.

There were no overt actions needed by the user ( you and me )

It was automatically Turned ON

If you haven't done so already, please post the dictation and accessibility keyboard issues you're encountering.

Let's see if there are known solutions, or if Apple needs to be notified via Feedback of these issues.

Dictation is not something I use, so perhaps another contributor can assist with this

General info regarding the accessibility keyboard.

Use the Accessibility Keyboard on Mac

Change Keyboard settings for accessibility on Mac)

Move the pointer using head pointer on Mac

The other known issue that nobody seems to have an answer for is that dictation automatically incorporates words and names from contacts, and that cannot be turned off.

I would try turning off Siri Suggestions for Contacts.

You would be better off asking a new question about dictation. People who know the most about dictation probably aren't going to be interested in a question about automatic login and FileVault, especially when the OP has responded with "Totally worked! Thank you so much 🙂"

In Terminal appication 

Copy and paste the below command 

sudo fdesetup disable

(type your password if prompted, even though it won’t show your typing just press return after your pw)

When not "if", sudo always requires the password.
