No predictive text when Full screen apps are selected in “Multitasking”

There is not predictive text when windowed apps or stage manager are selected in multitasking. This has been going on for a while. There is predictive text when full screen apps are selected but then there are other issues. When full screen apps is selected certain apps are shown in the landscape mode but all that is done is they are taken from the portrait mode and turned to the landscape mode (see attached photo).
