In support of D.I. Johnson's recommendation you might consider the following: Google is known to "phone home" with users data as was found out with this new Google Photos service:  Google Photos may be free — but there's still a cost.

Also consider the following:

You might want to reconsider using Chrome as your browser after reading these:

Just some food for thought.

If you don't like Safari give Firefox or Brave (Chrome without Google's intrusion to your privacy) a try.  They are much more secure and safer than Chrome.

If you want to investigate your troubles with Safari we can do that here. It may help to know what sites you are having trouble with. That would be a great way to see if the problem only occurs on your device or others too. If it only happens on your device, we can look further into any third party processes in your Launch Folders that may be causing a conflict.

Common problems include using a VPN and Extensions that you may have installed on Safari. To be honest I use Safari exclusively and there has not been a single website that I have been unable to access. Web Site developers can target a specific preferred browser that are optimized for their use, but Safari is based on the same WebKit standard that is also used by many other browsers.

I am also using Mac OS 15.7.3 and there was a recent update for Safari that you may find in Settings for Software Updates to update it to version 26.2 I have not had trouble with either the 26.1 or 26.2 version.
