Bass Session Player Playback Issues

hi all, so when im using the Bass session player the play back is out of tune, sometimes not in time and sounds like a sick whale...im only using three tracks in the project and none of them are midi...im running an M1 2020 Mac mini with 16gbs of RAM and my OS is up to date....ive tried deleting and recreating the bass line, ive tried converting to midi and bouncing it to audio, ive tried copying the midi info and pasting it to a newly created midi bass track and it still plays back incorrectly....anyone else have this issue?
