You could try unpairing/repairing. But I would suggest you try a different watch face. It seems the developer has not updated your current one for the latest OS.
It could be that the specific watch face you are trying to use is not completely compatible with Watch OS 26. Which Watch face are you using? Does the problem occur on just this one or on several?
It is the same face I have always used. Problems started after latest updates. Weather, messages, and email keep disappearing.
