MacBook Pro: Can't erase drive in Recovery (-69772

My MacBook Pro (Intel 2018) can only go to macOS recovery. I can't download a new version of macOS because it's full. I managed to save my data onto an external hard drive using the disk utility. I tried to erase my hard drive data but keeps popping up with error to the operation (unable to begin erase operation: A writable disk is required (-69772)). I tried to use the terminal too.

Any and all help is needed?

What disk are you trying to erase in Disk Utility? It should be “Macintosh HD” and not “Macintosh HD - Data.”

I tried the both of them and same reply. I also had show all device and tried the Apple….. and that didn’t work.
