Suppress network volume login item error

I have a network volume as a login item. On the right network, it mounts with no problem. On another network it (as expected) gives an error message that it couldn't find the volume. Is there a way of suppressing that error message? It's not critical, but it's a bit annoying to have it pop up so frequently.

Remove it from Login Items and just put it in the Sidebar. You click on the sidebar item to open (and connect to) the share. Sidebar network locations do timeout after a while of not finding them when you click on them, but it sounds like you are there frequently enough.

I can't imagine there is a way to suppress the error as you are asking it to mount a volume that doesn't exist, so it is going to tell you it can't do what you asked.

A possible other method might be some sort of script that runs at login that checks the network status and proceeds to mount the share or not. However, it seems Tahoe has made determining the network difficult. I don't know how to go about setting that up.
