"Passwords is Locked" pops up every few minutes on M1 MacBook Air 2020, Tahoe 26.1 (and earlier versions)

"Passwords is Locked" pops up every few minutes, despite no autofill fields. I have tried disabling autofill, restarting computer, updating, still same issue. It started when I started using a password manager, but after deleting the password manager the problem persists, even after updating OS and adjusting the autofill settings every which way.

Most likely, the password manager you installed has left components (e.g., extensions) behind when you deleted it. Check the developer's documentation for the proper way to delete that app, including all its components. You can also use an app like the free EasyFind that can search hidden folders on your Mac, look for the name of the app and/or developer.

Given you have tried updating, you should be running 26.2 and not 26.1, so there seem to be larger issues here.

Follow the password manager instructions for removal if not already followed, and then restart into Safe Mode, and try the update again.

Failing that, please download and run (free) EtreCheck, and share the results to the clipboard. Then open a new reply here, and press the Additional Text button that looks like a printed page, and paste and post the hardware and software configuration report here. From that, we can get a little more detail about what is installed and what is running here.
