Concern Regarding My Apple Watch – Seeking Assistance

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Anna, and I am writing to express my concern and disappointment regarding my Apple Watch, which recently encountered an issue that I believe may still be solvable with your assistance.
I have been a loyal Apple customer for many years, and my household exclusively uses Apple products – from iPhones and iPads to MacBooks and Apple Watches. I have always appreciated the high-quality design, innovation, and customer care that Apple represents, which is why I am reaching out in the hope that you might be able to help me.
In May of last year, my Apple Watch began to malfunction under unclear circumstances. Although my model is advertised as water-resistant, the issue occurred after routine activities like washing my hands – nothing that should compromise its functionality. Initially, the watch remained operational but eventually became unresponsive to touch input, except for a small portion in the lower-left corner, which still works.
I took the device to an authorized service provider in Hungary, where I currently reside. Unfortunately, my experience there was disappointing. The watch was disassembled in a way that left it in worse condition, and I was told it was irreparable and should be discarded. However, the watch still charges and powers on, which makes me believe that a more professional evaluation could lead to a solution.
I understand that the warranty has already expired, but I believe the issue originally occurred while the device was still under warranty. For this reason, I am hopeful that with your expertise and perhaps on a goodwill basis, there may still be a way to resolve the situation.
I am reaching out because I will be traveling to Miami soon and would be grateful if you could advise me on the best course of action. I trust in the expertise of your team and hope that the device may still be repaired, or that some form of goodwill assistance might be available given the circumstances.
