Check your Recently Deleted folder
You might have accidentally deleted your photo or video, and now it's in the Recently Deleted folder.
Go to Photos > Albums > Recently Deleted. If you see the missing photo, you can move it back into your All Photos album.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
- Tap the photo or video > Recover.
- Confirm that you want to recover the photo.
To recover multiple photos:
- Tap Select.
- Tap the photos or videos > Recover.
- Confirm that you want to recover the photos or videos.
On your Mac:
- Click the photo or video.
- Click Recover.
Anything in your Recently Deleted folder stays there for 30 days. After that, it's gone forever.
Some users are having trouble to find the Recently Deleted album. After tapping Albums scroll down all the way to the Others section. You must not tap "my Albums". You need the main Albums tab.
