4k streaming

What makes you say that? Chrome plays 4k videos on Netflix, YouTube on my 5K iMac.

I need a 4K TV. :oP

Anyway, it looks like Netflix only broadcasts HD on a Mac. I know Amazon Prime is also HD only. Still don't know why you only get 720 in Chrome. That's not even HD. Trying to watch Netflix on a Windows 10 VM is too slow and it looks a bit grainy. I have a Windows 10 laptop I could check but the screen is too small to bother and I'll get Windows cooties.

Actually, I watch 4k content through my FireStick. I installed some great Supremacy Kodi addon that allows 4K content.Supremacy offers an incredible library of 4K movies that you can stream in just a few clicks. I understand. I have a 5K iMac and an iMac Pro and occasionally will watch something on them. But, I didn't buy them to watch stuff. Nothing wrong with wanting to.

To be honest, I'd rather watch anything on a large TV than on one of my computers. Plus, I've never even purchased a blue-ray disk for our player. I might get a 4k TV shortly but that's about it. Sometimes I stream TV to my iPad Pro but TV just isn't all that important to me.

You can stream 4K videos in any browser but Safari. We can't speculate on Apple plans.
