Airport Extreme Base Station used for Time Machine backup on a mesh Wi-Fi system.

I am trying to get my old Airport Extreme to be used as a backup for Time Machine on my Mac. I want it to join my new Mesh Wi-Fi System. Light keeps blinking yellow. Are there any instructions on how to do this?

Using Applications -> Utilities -> Airport Utility

Configure the Airport Extreme so it is in "Bridge Mode" which turns off its router functions.

If possible just plug the Airport Extreme WAN port (ethernet port with a circle icon) to your Mesh network router.

If not possible, then using the Airport Utility teach the Airport Extreme the name of the Mesh network SSID and password.
