I have rebooted and factory reset my computer to try to get my spacebar functioning normally. If continuously press it I get these random letters and characters, cvxx§coz§. It just will not give me a space.

Try an SMC reset:

If that doesn't work try connecting a usb keyboard and see if that works as expected. If it does then the problem is the keyboard hardware and you'll need to replace it.

If someone brought their computer to me with your complaint I'd plug another keyboard into it and I'd plug the keyboard into one of my computers. My expectation is that your computer would work and mine would suddenly be doing weird things.
