Screen Recording Sound Not Working

I have used both the DUO Recording and Display Recorder apps on my Xs Max and while it’s recording the screen, the volume of the video becomes so low that it’s unrecognizable. Seemingly the phone should be able to play the video with full audio and record both as well, but it can’t. As soon as I stop screen recording, the volume immediately returns to the correct level and can be easily recognized.
