Cannot upload an Excel file to my iCloud

I have downloaded the Excel application to my iPad and have been able to send an Excel file to my iPad from my Windows computer and can access and edit that file on my IPAD. However there is no obvious way in the eye excel application to send that file to my iCloud account. Help please

That’s because Microsoft doesn’t support iCloud within its apps well. You can save MS Office app files to OneDrive, Dropbox, Box, and a dozen or more cloud based storage services. But you cannot do so with iCloud in the add more places.


You have to do it indirectly, by tapping the “open” file icon, then “more”, then “browse” to finally get to iCloud and the iOS files app folders.
