Move ring doesn't seem accurate

So I've noticed this more this week, I'll go out for a workout and the Activity app says I burned so many "Active Calories" during my workout and I look at my Move ring and it doesn't reflect that information. Today I burned 874 calories on a ride over an hour ago and my watch says I only have 853 Move calories. Over the weekend I burned over 1200 calories on a ride and my watch was only showing 900 Move calories until it jumped up a couple hours later. Is there a lag to when my rings notice these things? If there is a lag why is there that much of one? C'mon Apple....
