iCloud photos

Hello I was wondering how/if it would be possible to get my old photos back I let a friend borrow an old phone and they deleted my pictures while it was connected to my cloud still so my photos aren’t even on my current phone anymore

The photos are kept in recently deleted folder for 30 days and can be recovered within this time limit , after that photos are erased from the iCloud server .

After recovering the photos in old iPhone , sign in with same Apple ID and password on the same network in both old and new iPhone the photos will start syncing let the process be completed , high network speed is essential see this article https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT201313
