For some reason, Spotify keeps opening up when I restart my Mac, or after a system update like just now.
It is not in my Login items (there are none there in fact) and it loads even when it was not running before I restarted.
Any help?

May not be needed with dialabrain's answer, but postbin or Apple's terrible little method...
Use the Note tool on the bottom of this editor's toolbar, as shown in the image, to copy and paste the output from EtreCheck.
This will likely point it out...
EtreCheck is a simple little app to display the important details of your system configuration and allow you to copy that information to the Clipboard. It is meant to be used with Apple Support Communities to help people help you with your Mac.
FWIW, there is a setting in Spotify's Advanced Settings to launch Spotify automatically. Disable it.

I ran the software but nothing was provided. I only saw repeated requests to buy packages.

OK, I managed to find the report (why is not clear where it is, for goodness sake?), but it is too big for me to paste here, so I can't.

FWIW, that's what the Spotify preference disables. But don't mind me. Pretend I wasn't here. lol
