not connecting to internet

The last day or so I cannot connect to the internet signal on my MacBook Pro. I thought it was just our WiFi so I went to a different location and it still wasn’t working. I can’t send emails, open google chrome, nothing.

I am having the same issue, starting a few days ago. I can see wifi networks and my phone's hotspot, but it won't connect. I downloaded the supplemental update for macbooks to deal with the T2 security chip issues, afterwards it connected to my phone's hotspot once, then stopped connecting to anything again. Is there a bug in the latest update of OSX?
