I got a suspicious email from “iCloud” with a link at the bottom. I clicked on it and logged in with my Apple ID and password. Then it started asking for social security number and everything. So I stopped what I was doing. The top of the website had the apple symbol and a two-lined symbol on the left so I tried clicking on those but it wouldn’t go to the apple website and that’s when I figured it was fake. Is it possible they got into my iCloud?

You change your password and making sure it is a strong one. You can also add 2 Factor Authentication to your account for more security. If the attempts continue, you might want to consider a name change.
