Transfer Mailboxes ON MY MAC from old Mac to New Mac 2019?

Have new Macbook Pro and old MacBook Pro? Both using Mac OS Mojave10.14.5.

For convenience I have made mailboxes on my old Mac. I need to transfer these to my new Mac.

But can't?

It states these are ON MY MAC and won't transfer?

Help? How can I even get them on to an external hard drive?

This is very important information, that I need.

Thanking you,

Belinda

The easiest way is to use Migration Assistant and migrate your account to your new mac and have everything set up as in the old one.

If you don’t want that, you may be able to export your mailboxes (Mailbox->Export Mailbox...), copy the .mbox files to your new mac and import (File->Import Mailboxes)
