Android and Apple group chat

I’m in a group chat with Apple and Android. I’m an Apple user and I can’t leave it? Surely there must some way to.. any suggestions???

If the group is Apple only devices you can leave but if it is a mixed group then it is an SMS/MMS and therefore controlled by the carriers and you cannot leave the group. You can hide alerts for the group.
