Every iPhone comes with 1-year limited warranty that is valid in a country of purchase.

If you are updated to the latest software, you can check when your warranty ends under Settings > General > About.

If you do not see it there, please feel free to contact Apple Support for help.

You will pay for it no matter what: if you have AppleCare or if you don't. The price will differ.
