Possible scam

I received an email stating a "problem with my account and card and that you could not charge my account".

When I went to check which card I had on file for you and checked the card there are no obvious issues and the card was charged $2.99 for my iCloud storage.

The email also indicated "If you don't immediately update your billing information, your Apple ID will be permanently locked."

I wanted to make sure my account is okay and make Apple aware of the scam.

Hi. ignore the email. Here is a link you can go to verify your Apple ID information. Do not click on any link in that email. Apple ID - Official Apple Support
