Remove application which has been deleted

I have an application which is still loading up when I connect the device via USB, even though I've deleted it!!

I went to finder>applications>then deleted it. Emptied the trash, restarted my mac.

When I plug the device in, the application loads (the application doesn't work, so I was trying to remove it, then download it again from the Leap Frog website).

How do I get rid of the application 100%, so I can try to download it again??

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.14

Depends on what application. If the application came with an uninstaller you have to use the uninstaller to delete the application.
